At the closing ceremony, when the results were given, Canaries Primary School placed third in the Environmental Science category. Wow, what a feat! That was our first time attending the National Science Fair (finals) and we got third place, with our project- Plastic Garden.
Today the idea of a garden for our school received the commitment of the Principal and Staff who unanimously agreed to work toward the success of this endeavor.
On Thursday, March 14, 2019, the Canaries Primary School and its feeder schools- Canaries Infant and Canaries Pre-School participated in Caribe Wave 2019. Caribe Wave is an annual, region-wide tsunami training and awareness exercise involving international agencies and territories in the Caribbean Region.
This year, on February 14, as is customary, we observed Valentine’s Day. Over the past few years, we had ‘A Date with my Dad’, then ‘A Date with My Parent’ but this year we had a plain old lunch. It was fun! Below is a collage featuring some of the terrific students who were in attendance.
